Pramit Pal Chaudhuri is the South Asia practice head for the Eurasia Group, a Fellow at the Ananta Aspen Centre, and Editor of the Quad+ journal. He was formerly the Foreign Editor of the Hindustan Times for 20 years. He also serves as an advisor to the Council of Energy Environment and Water and the Shakti Foundation. As a member of the Aspen Strategy Group of India, he is a delegate for several track-two strategic dialogues, including three with the United States, two with Japan and others with China, Israel, South Korea, Britain and the European Union. Recently, he joined the advisory board of Policy 4.0, a digital policy think tank in Bangalore.
He served two terms on the National Security Advisory Board for two prime ministers of India from 2011 to 2015. He was a member of its task forces on maritime security, neighbourhood policy and China, among others. In the past, he has been a Media Fellow at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Fellow at the Henry Stimson Centre, Washington DC; a Hubert Humphrey Fellow at the University of Maryland-College Park; a South Asian Fellow at Cornell University and a Schwarz Fellow with the Asia Society New York. He remains a non-resident Associate Fellow with the last organisation. He is a graduate of Cornell University and has lived in and travelled to over 50 countries.

R Jagannathan is a journalist with over 47 years’ experience in business and general journalism. He has been part of many launch teams, including Business Today, DNA and Firstpost.com. Mr Jagannathan has also helped revamp several business publications, including during assignments as Editor of Financial Express, Indian Management and BusinessWorld. He started his career with Financial Express as a reporter/sub-editor in 1976 in Mumbai. Richard has over four decades of experience in advisory work in Asia. From 1981, he served as the Asia research head for Business International (BI) running several dozen projects each year on China’s emerging market, regional M&A opportunities, and competitive strategies for Southeast Asia. From 1986, he served as the Southeast Asia director for the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU). During his time, he set up the regional office in Singapore, ran Government Roundtables, and coordinated CEO briefing programs in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Captain (Dr) Tenneti Sharma currently serves as Deputy General Manager at the Indian Navy’s Ship Building Centre in Vizag. Captain Tenneti embarked on his journey with the Navy in 1994 after completing the 7th Naval Engineering course. Having earned a BTech in mechanical engineering from JNU, he obtained an MTech and PhD in nuclear engineering from the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. Throughout his illustrious career, Captain Sharma has not only served on various ships but, since 2005, has also played a pivotal role in the construction of nuclear submarines. Beyond his military accomplishments, Captain Sharma is a multifaceted individual. He is an avid runner, cyclist and swimmer; as well as a skilled musician, painter and certified skydiver.

Commander Shilpa Tenneti, a Retired Indian Navy Commissioned Officer with over 18 years of expertise in HR, procurement, sourcing, supply chain and logistics, transitioned to a private- sector role with ICICI Bank in 2023. There, she oversees the defence ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. A national-level cricketer and certified skydiver, Shilpa has a proven track record in strategic sourcing, system development and comprehensive material function strategies. Recognised for her leadership, she managed capital procurement and established the Naval Cadet Corps Training Centre in 2004. Excelling in supply chain management, she displayed enormous resourcefulness during the 2017 Mumbai floods, and also while coordinating relief operations for Cyclone Hudhud and the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami.

Ushasree Peddisetty is a dynamic and multifaceted individual whose passion for serving society led her to the political arena, where she triumphed in the 2021 corporation elections, winning hearts with an overwhelming majority. Firmly believing that service to mankind is akin to serving a higher purpose, she embodies the spirit of a dedicated public servant. In addition to her role as the 43rd Ward Corporator in the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation, Ms. Ushasree is a force to be reckoned with in the world of badminton. Unveiling her passion for the sport at the age of 12, she rediscovered it after a 17-year hiatus, using badminton as a means to stay fit. Fueled by a desire to reclaim her champion status, she embarked on a rigorous training journey under the guidance of Mr M. Murali Krishna. Ushasree's achievements include representing India at prestigious events such as the Koo Kok Keong Cup in Hong Kong (2018), the World Master’s Games in Sweden (2015), and the World Senior Badminton Championships in Turkey (2013). Notably, she participated in all three events—WS, WD, XD—showcasing her versatility and skill on the badminton court. Her list of accomplishments continues, with state championships in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles, making her the current State Champion of Andhra Pradesh in the master’s category for 2023 and the reigning District Champion in 2024. Beyond the political and sports arenas, Ms. Ushasree holds an MBA from Andhra University and has a rich history of leadership roles, including General Captain of B.V.K. College, Captain of AU Badminton Team, and Secretary of AU Sports P.G. Center Kkd. Dr Maral Yazarloo-Pattrick is a world record-holding motorcyclist from Iran who also works as a fashion designer, artist, motivational speaker, and advocate for women's rights. Without a support system or crew, Maral set off on a solo global bike tour in March 2017 that took her through seven continents. Her achievements in the biking world have earned her the title of the ‘Queen of Superbikes of India’. This journey together with several others she has undertaken require planning, but really great courage. She is an amazing woman. Her session will explore her experiences and motivational factors.
